SLOW! I get that Montana doesn't move at the speed of any city, but we walked into a coffee shop with no customers and waited almost 30 minutes for drinks. Including hot water for my elderly aunt's tea. The staff was cranky and were not ready for people who needed silverware. The coffee was good when it came, but the wait... Glad they weren't busy.

So glad we checked Yelp to find this excellent sandwich shop on our way through Eastern Montana! The food was fresh and delicious. Homemade fresh bread with a lot of topping choices. Something for everyone- even a scrumptious veggie sandwich. Well worth the few minutes to Main Street.

Not many places to get that Starbucks like cup of coffee after staying overnight in Miles City. Not really anywhere for miles and miles and miles... So I definitely recommend this place for that alone. Also have nice breakfast sandwiches. Cant really speak to the lunch sandwiches that everyone talks about here, but what I had was really tasty. Pleasant folk, quiet, locals kind of place. Also have wifi, which was valuable. About a 10-15 minute drive from 94 and the hotels, but definitely hit this place if you're passing between Billings and Bismarck, cause there ain't much else for a long while.

A perfect place to lunch or grab your morning espresso! Hot/cold sandwiches, burgers, soups & salads. Homemade goodness! No fried food here!! Staff is quick, friendly & wifi is available.

Signature sandwiches are very good -- particularly the Bobcat and the Grizzly -- and the ingredients are really fresh and high quality. Roasted chicken on the Bobcat was super tender and moist and their artisan bread was fantastic, soft and airy with an awesome chewy crust. Service was friendly and efficient and the shop was cute and clean, we'll definitely eat in on our way through Miles City next time. Five stars because even though they aren't the best sandwiches I've ever eaten in my life, they're incredibly good and the best you can get in the area.

Had the San Fran burger. It was pretty good, I am for sure going back to try another one of their burgers and sandwiches. The place was packed and we had to wait for a table which we had to clean ourselves, my only complaint.

Always Great Healthy And Tasty! Vegetarian food in MT is hard to come by- this place has really good sandwiches on homemade bread. Employees are super nice and helpful!

I'm a simple city boy with simple country tastes. We passed through Historic Main Street Miles City and just had to stop on by. Had a pint and burger for lunch. The burger had two 1/4 pound patties stacked on a small bun. It's safe to say one would've sufficed. It was impossible to eat it like a normal burger so I turned it into two open faced burgers an gave my friend half. The beer was from a microbrew. Delicious. My friends both ordered sandwiches and were quite satisfied. They also allow dogs as we saw a giant furry dog taking refuge from the 111 degree heat. It was about $25 for three sandwiches and 3 beers. Not really sure what else Miles City has to offer as we were just passing through. Feel the Minnesota Nice all the way in Montana.

Best restaurant in town that I can find. Only place in town that has fresh food went here almost daily for the 3 months that I was here.

The place is quaint and spacious. Very nicely done. I got some banana-white-chocolate coffee drink and loved every sip of it. The sandwiches are priced in a way to be expected from a bistro on a main street, but worth it. Sprouts are awesome. And that thick bread can be tough to tangle with sometimes but it was baked perfectly. A step up from the Cellar Casino that occupied the spot before burning down, despite how good their pizza was.

We got off the highway hoping to eat at another sandwich shop - but it wasn't there! A local who was there (now a coffee shop) recommended this place instead. I really loved Main Street Grind. The atmosphere is great, the sandwiches were fresh and the bread was out of this world! I had the cowgirl on ciabatta bread (see photo), James had the cowboy on the same. Both were delicious. My daughters shared a PB&J on white - that was the best bread! My son created his own ham and cheese with all his favorite ingredients - you can choose their combos or make your own. The kids wouldn't let us leave without seeing what was in the "upstairs". 2 couch type seating areas and some more tables. They might have wifi there because a kid was on his computer up there. Bathrooms super clean as well as the whole restaurant/bakery. Lunch on Friday and there were lots of people to watch. Everyone working there was very friendly too. I hope this newer place does well. I looked it up online and it seems it was built in place of a row of buildings that had a fire. We will be back on our next road-trip to MT.

I was passing through Montana, and rather then inflict some roadside McDonalds upon my digestive system once again, I thought I would see what see what Miles City had to offer. This pleasant sandwich shop left me quite happy, and refreshed enough to continue on my journey. The interior is spacious and pleasantly, if somewhat remarkably, decorated. There were numerous ceiling fans which were a relief with the temperature hitting 110 outside. There was an upstairs, which I did not see. The menu had a number of offerings, the most prominently displayed was their selection of sandwiches, with a Montana sort of theme, put on your choice of several made in house breads(Some of them were more appealing than others, the baguette and the artisan sounded better than the white). I opted for, if I recall, "The Cowboy" on the "artisan bread," consisting of roast beef, and some regular sandwich vegetables(the details of which escape memory). My friends got their vegetarian sandwich on a baguette, and their classic burger. The roast beef I found to be a bit to dry, and the vegetables unremarkable in quality. The breads, three of which I tried, were quite good, and were the best aspect of the sandwich. The burger was very good, and came with two patties dripping with juices. There might have been something else on there, but I didn't notice while enjoying the rich flavor. To wash it all down, I had one of their three microbrews on offering. The service was good. They were quick to answer any questions we had. They didn't know anything about the beer, but given how young they seemed, that probably shouldn't be expected. A difficult customer ahead of us was served patiently, respectfully, and with no apparent fuss. Each of the sandwiches were around 7 dollars. The beers were 3.50 each. I would stop by again, were I to pass by again. If I lived in Miles City I would probably come regularly. I can't say with certainty, but it looked like one of the better options in the area.
